The earth shook so hard that no one stayed on their feet. Gravity seemed to give for a brief moment. Dust flew up into the air and the as the world shook to pieces around them.

Selene fell off her Tigris as the animal struggled to keep its feet. The two fell over, Selene reaching out to hug the animal in a need for security. She shuddered, wondering how long this would go on. Then she attempted to use her magic to rid the area of the dust.

The dust blew away, and Selene and Uriah could see the the tall buildings of the nearby city begin to topple. The city was being shaken to pieces.

Selene shivered. She wondered for one mad moment if she could stop the city from being destroyed, though she knew in her heart it would never work. She turned to Uriah. "If we're not careful, we'll be destroyed along with the buildings. We had best hurry to find ships for our people."

"I agree with your verdict Contessa." He states getting up from his hands and feet that he had fallen down on when the shaking started. Uriah turns towards where the rest of his race was gathered and let out a mighty "rawr" to get their attention. "Ursa Artko! Start moving toward the shore." He claims pointing int he directions of the ship as he starts to lead them down trying to get to the front of the line.

The city stood between them and their ships, well it was falling apart.

Selen sent one of her companions back to fetch the others. Then she called to her Tigris and indicated that the creature should force a path through the gathered people, though not hurting them if at all possible. "Growl at them," she instructed. "Make them move aside from fear."

The people in front of her were all pushing towards the boats. They ignored the tigris growls.

Uriah and several other of the bears, focus their efforts to the ground to try and get the earthquake to stop.

The earth around them stabilizes, but all around them the earth shudders and shakes like mad.

Selene considered for a moment. She called upon the goddess of the air to sweep the people aside to make a path for her people. The air slowly flowed into a the shape of a large Lion. The Lion floated above her, and only could barely be seen at its edges. It braced its legs, and roared loud enough to shake the earth if it was not already tremoring. The men and women were blown away tumbling end over end.

Uriah and his bears focus on the land around themselves and the buildings, to try and stabilize them and prevent them from collapsing.
